An Insurmountable Skullfort – Exotic Titan Helmet

Unique Perk: Improved Transfusion - Kills with Storm Fist immediately trigger health regeneration. Respawn with full melee energy. Gain a second melee charge.

SHOULD I BUY IT? (UPDATE MARCH 11 XUR DROP)

The Insurmountable Skullfort has gone through a few changes in its time to reach the point it’s at today. Arguably, what you’re staring at here is an Exotic helmet for Striker Titans. The unique perk means that you can take the Transfusion perk away from your Striker’s subclass tree and assign it to somewhere else, while still keeping the benefit. Definitely an interesting choice for the dedicated Striker in both PvP and PvE. However, while designed specifically around the Striker, this helmet also excels for Sunbreaker Titans, particularly in PvE encounters. If you’re the kind of Sunbreaker who likes to run with Melting Point as your melee modifier, the ability to have one in reserve to provide a much longer period of increased DPS is something you’re unlikely to want to pass up. Definitely an Exotic worth picking up if you haven’t already, particularly in it’s improved Year Two state.
