Don't Touch Me

Amputated from a creature that stumbled out of a Vex gate. A vestigial defensive reflex still remains.

Don't Touch Me is one of two Hunter gauntlets in-game; the other is the Young Ahamkara's Spine (Gunslinger), and the upcoming gauntlets are Ikaheka's Hooks (Bladedancer). Don't Touch Me's main feature is three seconds of invisibility after taking melee damage – and that's without a Bladedancer's Shadowjack talent to extend it several seconds. It also features quicker Special Weapon reloads and more Super energy from killing minions.

They're very good for running past mobs in PVE; we've seen a perfect example of that in Crota's End. The time between multiple activations is low (1-2s) if you break the invisibility, and practically non-existent (~0s) if the invisibility ends on its own. They're also good for Bladedancers who simply want to maximize invisibility. The Special Weapon reload speed is great (we love it on Young Ahamkara's Spine).

So, while they're outclassed by a number of Hunter Exotics in many situations, they're still a subclass-neutral Exotic with three pretty solid talents and a notable niche use.
