Destiny 2’s first post-launch expansion, Curse of Osiris, is now available for all platforms, bringing new content and gameplay improvements to Bungie’s sci-fi sequel.
Curse of Osiris features a new story campaign which focuses on the titular Warlock and his fight against the Vex, a fight which soon draws player-controlled Guardians into the fray and tasks them with venturing to the new planet Mercury. Along with Curse of Osiris, a new gameplay update is also going live, and as was outlined in Bungie’s recent quality-of-life blog post, the update includes the following:
- New armor ornaments which can be earned by completing specific objectives, allowing players to make their existing armor more visually distinct.
- Changes to Banshee-44’s mod system which make it easier to acquire Legendary Mods (including Kinetic Weapon Mods).
- Legendary Engrams which can be purchased from Master Rahool.
- Changes to the reputation tokens system which will make it more rewarding for players.
Another quality-of-life update is scheduled to arrive on December 12, bringing with it more changes and additions which should make Destiny 2 a more rewarding (and more fun) experience across the board.
