McFarlane Toys, founded by legendary director/producer Todd McFarlane, recently announced they’re teaming up with Bungie to produce a special series of action figures inspired by Destiny’s playable Guardian classes in Destiny.
According to the official press release, there will be three figures in total: a Warlock dressed in the King’s Fall raid armor set, a Titan dressed in the Vault of Glass raid armor set, and a Hunter dressed in the Iron Banner armor set. Each figure is fully articulated and comes with a special base branded with the Destiny logo.
During the press release, McFarlane praised what Bungie has done with Destiny and promised to include the same level of quality in the upcoming action figure line:
“Detail, depth, and customization, that’s what Destiny gives its players, and that’s what made it the biggest new video game franchise launch. With our upcoming Destiny line, fans can expect that same amount of detail and customization that we have built our own reputation on.”
The three action figures are priced at $19.99 each and are expected to become available sometime later this summer.
